In Phoenix Now!

It's been awhile since I've written anything because I've been busy packing and moving over the last couple of weeks. But I'm all settled into my new apartment in Mesa! It's kind of wierd living in a new city, but so far I like it here. My second day here was on 4th of July and the metals grad students invited me to a get together. It's a little late, but here are the pictures I took.

Last night my good friend Phil and his wife Seanbryn took me out to show me around town. We went to Casey Moore's Oyster House for dinner, a cute little place that is in the middle of a neigborhood right next to ASU. Then we walked around Mill Ave. and they showed me all of the great places they like to hang out. It was a lot of fun hanging out with them, and so sweet of them to show me around!

Today I was able to go to the metals studio to set up my bench!!! Here's what it looks like!

Mine's the one on the left against the wall

Section where all the grad students work. I'm in the far left corner.

I'm still exploring the area and getting a feel for things. Hopefully I'll have more to post soon!
