This week on PBS , Arizona Art Beat did a story about Small Metals - Big Ideas, an exhibition at Night Gallery at Tempe Marketplace in Tempe, AZ featuring metal work by ASU graduate students, faculty and graduate alumni. They interviewed Becky McDonah, and a few of the ASU graduate students (including myself) about the exhibition and our work. They also filmed us working in the studio.
Hosted by Ted Simons, here is what Arizona Art Beat says about the segment:
"We explore an exhibit featuring the work of metal artists from Arizona State University’s School of Art. It’s a diverse collection of thought-provoking and, at times, humorous works created using a variety of techniques. We’ll visit the gallery, but we’ll also take you into the studios and minds of the artists. Small Metals – Big Ideas is this week’s focus for our ongoing series, Arizona ArtBeat on Horizon."
